ICE and A Lost Kitty

Hello readers,

Before I get to what's been going on with me, I got this very important message, well I consider it an important message anyway, in an e-mail from a friend. After reading it, I immediately grabbed my cell phone and did this. I will for space's sake put it behind a cut but I do encourage you all to read it and do as i have. It may just be something that helps save your life if you find yourself in a situation where you can't speak for yourself.

I just felt that was something that needed to be printed in here. I always find it sad when people are very very ill or have been in an accident and there's no one to be at the hospital with them, or if they can't say what they want or fill out forms for themselves. If you have someone who is close to you, at least they can come and be your voice when you don't have one.

And now for something completely funny...after reading they above part, I do believe it's time for a bit of humor. Don't you? Yes of course you do. *grins*

So I'm thinking that I should just say goodbye to you all now because after tomorrow night, I may not be around any longer. I kind of did something that wasn't exactly my fault but it happened nonetheless. What have you done that was so bad that you feel you have to say goodbye you may be asking? I lost vampy's cat!!!! I feel absolutely horrible about this. I'm trying so hard right now not to burst into tears and it's getting to be a hard thing to do. My boss is so cool though, he offered to let one of the drivers and me go back home and go cat hunting. Summer was nowhere to be found in the apartment or in the basement that we could tell. I wish vampy were home because i know she'd come to his voice. We went knocking on the neighbor's doors to ask if they had seen a little gray and white cat running around. It turns out that someone had seen her running up and down the stairs. He tried to put her outside but she wouldn't go. He said she just sat there and didn't move when he opened the door to outside. By this I am a little bit comforted. The neighbors are going to keep a look out for her and if they see her they will notify me. I feel really horrible like I said. Vampy loves that cat with all of his being and i know that if it were my cat missing I'd be just as horrified. For now, I am back at work and I just hope and pray that when I get home, I will have a little gray and white cat back at my apartment door meowing to be let back in.

I found out that my hours are going to be increasing at work. This makes me excited sense in the beginning I was hoping to get 40 hours a week. I'm not yet sure how many more hours I'm getting but every hour helps. Land To Air is expanding and we are going to go more places which I think is the coolest thing ever. It will mean more of my paycheck going to transportation but at least i get out of the house and won't be bored.

Well it's nearing the end of my work day so I'm going to close this for now and do my end of the day things. I'll write again soon, that is if Vampy doesn't murder me for losing his cat. But before I go, have this link. LOL!

Peanut Butter Pie

Good evening,

I currently find myself incapable of sleeping at the present time so I have decided to grace you all with a recipe. Cool huh?
This particular recipe is very very yummy, the only problem is, it calls for an ingredient that is extremely hard to find. And said ingredient is? Dream Whip. Now, you can order it online but it is a bit expensive. That for now is how i get mine when i need it. Most grocery stores used to carry it but now you may have to do a bit of searching however, if i can find an alternative to Dream Whip I will be more than happy to share it with you. So on with the recipe and happy Dream Whip hunting.

Peanut Butter Pie.

One Oreo Pie Crust,
One box Vanilla Instant Pudding,
One envelope Dream Whip,
two cups milk,
One-Half cup peanut Butter.

Mix all ingredients and pour into pie crust. Chill and enjoy.

An Update On Kitty

Hello readers,

I don't usually post more than one entry a day but I have an update on Vampy's cat.

After i got home from work today, I cried my eyes out. Ozzy tried the best he could to comfort me but not even the purring of my cat could bring me any peace. Knowing that Summer is out there somewhere probably scared and hungry and not understanding what was going on, no familiar surroundings to her, I just lost it. At that point I did the only thing I could think of, I called Deborah. I explained to her the situation and she told me she'd be right over. Deborah searched for a little while to see if she could find Summer but no such luck. After we decided that we'd give up on the search for now and hope like hell that Summer was just in the basement and knowing that Vampy would be home tomorrow, Summer would come to him being that she is his cat and she knows him a lot better than she knows me. Deborah went home and called me, she told me i should check with the animal control center. I had thaught of that earlier in the day but being that the neighbor said he saw her, I thaught maybe i wouldn't go that route just yet. I found myself reaching for my cell phone and calling them anyway just in case. Well, it turns out that there was a gray and white cat braught in last night and she was found close to where I live. So they sent me a picture of her in an e-mail and Deborah once again rushed over here and looked at the pic. She said, "Yep that's her." I was relieved beyond belief. She then said she wasn't 100% sure but she was pretty sure that the cat in the photo is Summer. So...here's hoping that Deborah's right. If so, then kitty has been found and I'm going to go and rescue her from the pound tomorrow after I get off work. It's going to cost me $26 to get her back but I don't care. All I want is that little beautiful feline back. Ozzy may not like her, but even though she's not my cat, I love her. Ozzy will always be mine or more like I'll always be his, but there's just something about Summer that makes you fall in love with her.

Alright, the potions mistress is sleepy so I'm gonna head off to bed now. I'll update you all after i get back from the pound tomorrow, hopefully with kitty in hand. Good night lovelies. Until then...<3<3<3hugs to all<3<3<3
