Bad News, Good News
Feb. 16th, 2011 10:32 amDear readers.
I came across this artical on twitter while reading my tweets. Apparently there was this cat that resembles Lord Voldemort from Harry Potter. I'm sure I didn't need to say where Lord Voldemort is from as most of us have read the series. So, that was for those who haven't read it because I know that not everyone is a fan of the boy wizard. I happen to be obviously...I'm definitely a fan of the potions master...but again I didn't need to state the obvious. Anyway, this comes from @HarryPotterView. Follow them on twitter for all of your HP news and for all the stories about where and what the actors and actresses are up to these days. Here's the link for the article. Give it a read if you are a fan. I would have gladly adopted the cat myself if i could have. http://t.co/SHRAb4f
Yesterday I got a wake up call that I could have happily done without. My birth mother called to tell me that my grandmother passed away on Monday night. I feel horrible as I didn't get the chance to go see her before she left this world. I really wanted to but I couldn't afford to go there. I was trying to save the funds so I could go. I knew that she was going to die soon so it wasn't a shock that it happened but I would have loved to have seen her before she passed. Lesson learned, don't put things off, try hard to do what you need to do before you don't have that chance anymore. I don't know when the funeral is. My birth mother was supposed to call me back last night and give me all the details so I could try and make arrangements to get there. I didn't hear from her. Speaking of my birth mother, she is holding up surprisingly well. She like me feels that she is in a better place and that she's no longer suffering and in pain. Yes she's still upset because that was her mother. I'd be upset too if any of my mothers passed on. I just wish I could have been there, I should have been there.
Logan, my nephew was allowed to go home! He is doing just fine! I'm so happy that he pulled through. He's a little fighter that one is. That was some good news from yesterday. First my birth mother gives me bad news and then she gives me good news.
Vampy and i have made up. There was still no apologies for his actions but I have come to accept that that's just how he is. There are times he infuriates me to the point of wanting to take him and shake him so that he sees what he is doing and how what he does affects others. I don't think he means sometimes to be the way he is, i just think he knows no other way.
Yesterday we went to the grocery store and I found these amazing cookies! They are made by Pepperage Farm, y'know the same people who make the goldfish crackers? Well, these cookies are called Strawberry Verona and they are really good. They are full of strawberry goodness and I think that i'm going to have to go and buy more of them. They are a must try if you love strawberry things as much as I do. Now they just need to make blueberry ones and all will be right in the world of Pepperage Farm cookies.
Well, I suppose I should post this and go and get ready to go out. I'm going with Deborah to do Merlin knows what. I just know i haven't seen her in a while so it will be cool to see her again.
Take care all and I'll write again soon.
