Good evening darlings.
As most of you know I have a great love for dolphins. In the past i have done research and studied dolphin behavior and habbits but have never shared my findings. Well I was on twitter and I saw this posted and just had to share it. It was one of the most amazing discoveries about the dolphin I have ever seen. Ok, not the most but probably one of the top most.
Dolphins don't breathe automatically - they breathe when they tell themselves to breathe.

sleep, they lie on their side with their blowhole above the water surface. They sleep with only half of their brain at time, and they take turns sleeping
with different sides of its brain. The other half stays awake so the dolphin remembers to breathe. This also means that dolphins cannot receive anesthetics

I am a sad vampiress because my Colts didn't win the Super Bowl. The Saints won it 31 to 17. I have to admit it was a very very good game.
Carry Underwood sang the national anthem and did ok I suppose. The mic she was using was really horrible and she was flat on some of her notes but all in all I guess she was ok. I'm not a huge fan of Carry Underwood anyway but y'know, I don't say what I said out of not being a fan. I said what I said because it was true.
During the half-time show The Who rocked out. I really liked them and thought they did a decent job. They did a really awesome medly of a few of their songs, some were: Who Are You, Won't Get Fooled Again and Baba O'riley. Those are three songs by them I absolutely love.
Now that football's over we wait for baseball. I'm not a real big baseball fan so I guess I wait for football again. Let's see how my team The Patriots do next year.
I learned two new life lessons, one Friday and one yesterday.
Friday I learnred that you cannot change the way your hair is meant to be. You can change the color which I do and the length which I don't touch because i love it long but not whether it is straight or curly. My hair is naturally wavey and has curl to it and I want it completely straight. So i baught this shampoo and conditioner that is meant to make one's hair straight. Needless to say, it didn't work. My hair was still wavey and curly. So, I will just have to accept that and I do now. I think we always seem to want something we can't have and straight hair is one of those things that I want but can't have. It's ok, I'll just be happy with the hair I was given.
The second life's lesson I learned yesterday. I learned not to drink coffee and take my fishoil vitamin with it. I take many different vitamins but the fish oil was the only one that did this to me. For some reason the coffee made it taste stronger and i thought i was going to lose it. I have taken it with pop and it didn't have that affect so yeah, no more coffee with my fish oils.
For those of you who are wondering, i take fish oil vitamins for many reasons. I take it for the omega3, it's good for your heart and such. It has a lot of different uses and you can find them by googling fish oil. Google is your best friend. You can use any search engine really but honestly I swear by Google.
I am so thrilled! We are under a winter storm watch until Tuesday. No, I'm not really thrilled, that was my sarcastic side showing. In total this year we so far have had 44 and a half inches of snow on the ground. By Tuesday morning we could add another 12 inches to that. Poor Ozzy can hardly look out the windows now with what has already fallen this year. He tries and all he can do is look up at the ceiling it seems. My poor cat.
Well, I suppose I have no more to write about at the present time so I'll go and post this entry. Everyone have a good night and I'll be back to write again soon.
